Welcome to Sparta Mosquito Control
We’re Mike and Angie Hoover — fifth-generation Michiganders who met as high school sweethearts in the Irish Hills and raised four kids in the state. In 2013 we started a mosquito and tick protection business with zero customers and a truck, and built it one yard at a time into a team that protected over 3,500 local families and earned hundreds of five-star reviews.
Our Mission
At the heart of our mission is a simple promise: to help families reclaim their outdoor spaces — safely and worry-free.
We believe your backyard should be for laughter, barefoot adventures, and lasting memories — not bug bites or skin sprays. That’s why we use pet and kid friendly treatments custom-mixed for your yard and applied with care to protect everyone — including pets, butterflies, and bees.
As a locally owned company, we treat every client like a neighbor. With deep local expertise, pollinator-friendly practices, and a commitment to trust and reliability, we’re here to help you enjoy the outdoors the way it should be.
